Below is a calendar of professional development and personal enrichment programs for 2010. To register, follow the instructions listed by each program, event and/or seminar.
SSANEE Training & Consulting Group in Partnership with the Division of Continuing Education at Kennedy-King College Present
Business Writing: Strategies for Busy Professionals. Conducted by Cassandra "D.I.V.A. of DialogTM" Lee,
this two-week writing course is designed for busy professionals who
desire to write strong business documents with limited errors that
highlight their writing skills and represents them and their companies
in a positive light. Students in this class will: - Learn the key differences between various types of business documents
- Review the rules related to punctuation, grammar and spelling
- Understand the concepts of proofreading and editing
- Use writing techniques to help promote and structure thought flow
- Increase proficiency in writing documents more quickly and concisely

In Train the Trainer: Tools and Techniques to Elevate Your Talents to Expert Trainer, you will discover, in this two-day wilderness retreat through the help of Cassandra "D.I.V.A. of DialogTM" Lee, the five steps involved in preparing and presenting a training program using adult learning principles. While experiencing the beauty and comfort of nature, you'll also learn the roles of trainers along with the differences between public speaking and training. Finally, you'll learn how to make the learning experience an enjoyable experience for your participants as you relax and enjoy the peace and serenity of Mosley's Retreat away from the hustle and bustle of your everyday routines.
Who should attend?:
- Anyone who plans training programs to improve the skills and enhance the knowledge of their employees, students or clients;
- Anyone who desires to use their public speaking skills as a corporate trainer;
- Anyone with less than five years training experience desiring to become a stronger trainer; and
- Anyone with over five years training experience seeking to refine what they know and do.
